Hello.
You are my last chance, i don't know what to do.
I have notebook with Wi-fi adapter Atheros Ar5006EG last version of drivers installed.
Device works (as windows say).There is dot access D-Link Dap 1160 dot works normal, my desktop connects with it good.
But not notebook. He simply can't find it. Windows installed few days ago. If anyone have any ideas, please write here, my head soon will blow up.

before all, plug out adapter...
Did you get any CD with Adapter? Try to first install drivers from cd, and then plug in adapter, if doesn't work, try this:
On CD is got to be folder WinXP (or something like it-if you have XP, if you have vista, folder name is Vista), in which are drivers for manual install. copy ONLY that folder on desktop. go to add new hardware, and manual browse drivers, and browse to folder on desktop and install it. I had this procedure must repeat for 6-7 times, and it works. My adapter is D-Links, but other version. My desktop computer normally installed it Automaticly, but notebook have problems, and I installed it like I written.
